After an exhaustive summer full of events Da Buttera are taking a much need break for two weeks to allow the batteries to recharge and the heart to grow fonder. The rehearsals are also suspended until 3rd of September but that doesn't mean the instruments get a rest. Indeed quiet the opposite. Like athletes, musicians can't simply stop training. A Pianist was quoted for say: "If I don't practice for one day then I'll notice. If I don't practice for two day then you'll notice!" No rest for the wicked so it would seem.

It can still be said though, there won't be a baton waved or a note played in Shandon, for a fortnight.
