Our Repertoire

The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band in its 138 years has amassed quite an extensive library of music to choose from.  The Band can cater for all sorts of events, e.g. Concert, Festivals, Marching Parades, Sacred and Christmas.  We have a with range of styles to cover any mood including: Classical Overtures, light operatics, traditional airs for band, Swinging Jazz, Contemporary, Rock & Pop, even music from the movies and of course rousing marches.

Some of our favourite and best know music is: The Three Flowers, La Vie En Rose, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, You Raise Me Up, My Grandfather's Clock, Route 66, Satin Doll, The Prayer, Operaland, Puttin' On The Ritz, Till, Bass In The Ballroom and Liberty Bell (used in the TV series: Monty Python Flying Circus) to name but a few.

Recording of Santa Claus' eagerly anticipated arrival to Blackpool Shopping Centre on Friday 28th November 2014.  The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band were there to add some Christmas cheer and catch a glimpse of Santa Claus himself.
