The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band performed at the Retracing the Cork Butter Road in the Shandon Craft Centre. The festival saw a traditional butter horse and cart follow the old butter road from Macroom to Shandon.

There was a great festival atmosphere with the appetising smell of barbeque saugages and burgers. The Band had no choice but to perform a special rendition of "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes".

The event saw the Bands Tubist Mark Buckley take the Baton for two pieces: Chawchee - composed and arranged by the Bands Conductor Herbie Hendrick, and Till - a latin american piece.
