​After last week's Dragon of Shandon Festival preparations for the Annual Concert raise to new heights this week. On Thursday the first Massed Bands rehearsal ahead of the concert will be held in Blackpool Church. This will bring peace of mind not only to the Conductors but also for the musicians themselves. It will allow the musicians to become familiar with the acoustic, which, like every venue is different. It will be a relief for the Conductors too as they will finally have the full band in front of them that will be there on the night. With both Da Buttera and Bandon Band working hard at rehearsals it should be a most enjoyable Concert in December.
