Dragon of Shandon set to be scariest yet

With Summer Time ending the Dragon of Shandon Lantern festival is almost apon us.

This year sees the festival expand even further with events on Tuesday 28th October to Friday 31st October. So too has the Buttera's involvement expanded.

On Wednesday 29th, The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will give a short recital from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Adding an atmosphere of fear as our demonic music is released.

On Friday 31st, The Cork Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Band will take part in the Lantern Parade as the army of undead. The parade which starts and ends at the Butter Museum goes down John Redmond St., along the quay and back up on Shandon Street.

The parade is a great spectacle of sight and sound with something for all the family.

Looking forward to scaring you there...
